Nivram Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 So the deal is i killed a 30 pack of nasty ass busch my wife dragged me along with her to walmart and thats the last thing i remember untill i woke up the next morning with 4 bullshit walmart 12's sitting on the the livingroom floor. Now here i am with 4 wack woofers trying to figure out what to do with them. how can i get 4 175rms subs to get low i have 2 bs 400watt amps to push them with. im just trying to figure out a box design to throw them in to replace my already shitty temp set up with a worse temp setup. Originally I was thinking to do a 4th order blown into cab sealing rear deck and so forth. Then i had this stupid idea to make 4 different boxes each with its own port tune 28hz, 33hz, 38hz,& 40hz Maybe even 2 boxes one 28hz another 35hz. i have ruffly 9 cubes of trunk 10 if i tried but i already made a 10 cube box once and it was a pain to get in there so id rather not. The subs require 1.25 cubes in ported enclosure so i have plenty of space to fit 4 of them bad mofo's Pretty much just asking for ideas on enclosures! anything will be appreciated!! 4th order,6th order, ported,sealed whatever Im pretty much just building this to hold me over untill i get my taxes back. Plus it never hurts to get more woodworking experience.
