Flatline 8.5k?

last time i checked this was an open forum.

Yes it is an open forum. I am simply looking for an answer. If you would like to turn this into anything else, I will make sure it is dealt with. This has nothing to do with DC vs Flatline or anything of the sort. I want to understand the technology that allows it to put out its power with less components on the board. I would also like someone that understand how the parts on the board actually work to help me understand what each part does.

Why not compare it to a American bass 750.1? Since it is the dc 7.5k just a different name on it.

Ohms law..

Voltage - current

Higher voltage / less current therefore wayyyyy less copper needed and easier to attain a higher rail voltage.

I didnt zoom in on the pics cause im on mobile but it seems correct if the DC does 7k @12v and the flatline does 8k at 16v

Also is it a 1ohm amp like the dc?

Or .5?

i think everyone is missing the point of what Cody is asking or the reason he posted.. he just wants to know whats the technology behind the 8.5k and did not actually compared the 2.. he just used the 7.5k as a reference to difference in technology

Im not sure. I have not been able to find much info on the 8.5k. It would make more sense to call it a 6k if that is what it will do at 12v, that is if the 8.5k is what it will do at 16v.
