Am I using the incorrect name for this type of install? yes you are using the correct terminology. sometimes people get confused because of the sealed part lol. sometimes people use "firing forward sealed off"

notorious97200 Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 If it's sealed from the trunk you will not have any vibration in the trunk, so no sound deadening should be needed. and you already have one layer, so it's good. If you're talking about the doors, roof,... it's another problem, and you may need some. Whatever system your running.
