You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

ChevyBoy Posted August 16, 2008 Report Posted August 16, 2008 i would drop the box to around 5.5-6 cft for each woofer and tune higher to about 35-37ish on the hzconsidering hes not even putting rms to the subs, he shouldnt go with that small of a box.

audiofanaticz Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Id would also finish this box, and turn it into a wall, not a over sized box behind your seats with 4+ inches of gap around the box. your rear doors and windows should have almost zero flex. everything from the front baffle back should be completly sealed off. Your still pressurising the whole rear of the vehicle lowering your db score. If you build your new clam shell the same way, and not seal off the back of the vehicle, your going to feel like you fail again. Im not trying to knock on you, but your giving the subs crap for power too. nice vid by the way! and what did the 4 18s meter? 153ish? Id really build some thick trim panels, and seal the top, and sides of that wall, and re meter, and mabey get 2 more matching amps for subs.
