IH8PunkRok Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 I purchased some Plasti-dip at Lowes(my friends have bought it at Home Depot), it was 5$ a can plus tax. It worked good for me, I put it over the plastic on my rear bumper, the only problem I had was when I peeled away the tape it started to peel away some of the paint, I waited 15-20 minutes between coats and I did 3 coats. Lbox88 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 Sounds like some good info here, was thinking of plasti dipping some of the chrome pieces and maybe my rims this summer once I peal off the shitty balancing weights that are on them and have them re-balanced but with the weights on the inside of the rim. My hood has chunks of paint peeling off, it's not rusty or anything just big flakes of paint coming off.
