stroupe79
are you restricted on space?....I personally wouldn't want to run my port only 1.75inch wide...might get some noise from that narrow of a port http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
boom50cal
Try it with some 1/2 inch wood, like birch. Makes stuff a whole lot easier. 2 3 inch or maybe 4 inch PVC ports too. You'll get some port noise out of that long narrow port. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole. KenC210
yes it is a single cab and the box is for a bigger guy and needs the seat so far back. Was thinking subs on passenger side and port driver side. Joe X
A single 6" aero would perform great there and would increase your net a bit.
stroupe79
try these measurements 17.5x60x5.5 & 7 1 6inch aeroport 25.5inches long gets you to 2.00cubes @ 35.65hz *edit for aero http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
CleanSierra
A single 6" aero would perform great there and would increase your net a bit.where are you gonna fire that 6" port though?OP, what year is this Silverado? The reason Im asking is because you don't have that much height unless you step the box out from the back wall(if it's a 99-06) Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Was thinking subs on passenger side and port driver side. It's louder with the subs driver side, port firing into B-pillarI've built quite a few boxes for the 99-06 Sierra/Silvys If it were me, I would leave 4 inches past the end of the box UNobstructed and fire a couple of 4" PVC ports right at the pillar. He will be pleasantly surprised with the output from two entry level 10s Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I believe it is a 98. And subs driver side port to passenger side is best?
