But then i'm afraid you'll need to upgrade to a 3.5k, those subs will laugh at the 2200. Got first in dBDrag with 144.0 and second in Bass Race Anyways, all sealed up and meter on windshield 144.0 @ 48hz Both windows open, meter on windshield 141.5 @ 32hz <--- which is the only thing I really care about. I love lows. Wish I had the room to seal off but I don't . It's all good my trunk don't rattle much. I got my subs 2nd hand, guy I got them from was runing them on a AQ2200. Before I got them we ran them a good 30-40 min never got sticky. His box was 8ft^3 @34hz .Said he did a 144db at a MWSPL comp a week before with only a 1500 watt amp. And that it was way louder to the ear on the AQ 2200 that he had just got. To my ear it sounded a lot louder then a 144. He came by the next day after I got the 15s with his hdc312s in a box that was 6ft^3 @36hz on the aq 2200, sounded the same as the 15s. N E way I like your build look good. Anyways on another note, this is what that block of wood was. It lets me play down to 25hz and still have some output. Sure feels like there is a fan blowing on me from the back seat. I will probably be adding 2 more layers onto the plug which should tune it to 28hz. Once I test that, and it puts out what I want, I'm going to make it match the box. I was going to use foam or something, but I thought hell carpet will work just fine. Plus it keeps the wood from scratching the paint in the port. I cut the plug just wide enough that when the carpet is on it, it is tight as hell. Once I get the plug painted I'll use some adhesive spray and put the carpet on permanently. edit: right now it's just wrapped around the plug, like a U edit2: Just got back from school and played the music I regularly do. Fucking KILLS 32hz. Freakin flex city. Lost output 43+. I need a hot day to see how well 25hz really does. I will probably only put 1 more board on the plug.
