Dang I like this build you have going. I wish i could personally hear your SA8's and compare how I did with my enclosure in my NNBS Sierra CC. I found the design online but I think my 8's could sound better.

thanx.. i noticed it says you have a dc 2k that could be the problem because when i first got these i had them on a 2k amp too and they just didn't sound loud and then i switched it to a 1.2k and it was like day and night

yea they go into it the same way because all I did was take the stock grill and built on top of it so it clips in how it used to..but I'm thinking of redoing it because I could've done a few things differently but its basically going to be the same..I'm going to take a piece of mdf and cut it the shape of the slot and just build on top of it so it will kinda make an enclosure so to speak and just bolt it into the door panel

:o if you do take them out and make new one's let me know i'd be down to buy the one's you have currently!

lol just a few days too late i have who already is buying them.. i mentioned it to him last week so he said the same thing..sorry

its deh-x55hd that my brother got about 2 months ago and he had to get rid of the car so he just let me take all the car audio stuff out of it

Great build mad. I like the pods. Reminds me of how much I love mine.

I doubt its my amp. I dont have the gain turned up much. I believe its my stock radio. I just havent gotten around to installing my Pioneer double din i bought, MONTHS AGO! I have no time to spend on my truck to get things right.
