Pro7
Is with the increased voltage increasing the input rca voltage which protects the amp? Cuz I was settin my gain last night and turned the gain on my rf-bld up too high for the amp (but still a clean signal) and the amp= insta-protect But for real dude you need more bats, try a lower input voltage if possible and adjust gains accordingly then add bats!!! I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before
STEvil
It went into protect because increasing input voltage on the RCA's increases the "volume" you're sending it which means it goes into clipping territory. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. AmmoJammo
Alrighty, thanks for the suggestions guys, at this point in time I'm going to assume its the short circuit protection being more sensitive when strapped and with a higher battery voltage. So, I shall see what I can do about reducing the sensitivity of the protection

AmmoJammo
It would probably look similar to the first time I had to fix it.
