Long story short. The painters tape / duct tape / nothing would stick to my door and spreading resin would make it slide right off. I decided to try foam.

Naturally it did not fucking work. I give up. Just gonna make new door panels out of wood. These honda ones are impossible to work with.

Also, do you use armor all or any dressing on then doors?? If so that might be why the painters tape didn't stick. Maybe try wiping the panel down with rubbing alcohol and trying again.

I had the same issue when I was making my tweeter pods. The plastic was oily and nothing would stick to it. Wipe it down a couple times with isopropyl alcohol and the tape should stick
