meade916 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 no need for a relay in this situation. a toggle switch or directly off the acc wire will do until you get your deck repaired. the remote wire doesnt draw any kind of current that would require a relay with a wire straight to the battery. Wired up all my amps and none of them came on. I had forgotten to hook up the relay to the head unit. I almost cried at first though. Wired up all my amps and none of them came on. I had forgotten to hook up the relay to the head unit. I almost cried at first though. Actually the worst was getting to listen to the bass and then when i turned it up, BOTH amps turned off, for good, no popper fuses and no smoke from anything. I was like WTF, just turning the wheels in my head to figure it out ya know. But yeah, the new alt is nice, can't wait to see what it meters.
