Joe X Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Hey guys having an issue with my box ( so I think) 2 l7 15 in a 12 cube box give or take! My issue is when I sealed it up and mounted speakers I could push down on one speaker and the other would not move! That's good! Now a couple months later! I pushed on one of the speakers to see how my break in was doing and I noticed the other speaker move out as I pushed the other in! Which only means I got a leak! RIGHT??? Just looking on advice as to How this effects performance Will it damage anything The only reason I'm Asking is cause it's gunna be a Bit*h to seal it! Can it even be re sealed or do I have to build a new box? Is this a sealed type of enclosure? ported?

kirill007 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 It's supposed to do that. if you move one sub, the other one has to move too. If it doesn't , only then you have a leak. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
95legwagon Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 sounds like op says box is sealed.....if box is sealed and you push on 1 sub the other will move....... if it doesnt... somting wong...... if its ported and its doing that...somting wong too lol if you do use caulk to seal it better MAKE SURE it dries completely before putting subs back in box or the fumes will damage them..... edit: ninja'd lol i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. ChevyBoy95 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 The sub shouldn't move if you push the other in if it is ported....
