TrunkMuzik Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 so i picked up 2 almost new kicker cvr 10s in a ported prefab today for $80 just to see how they would compare to my single JL 10w7 They are 400w rms each and i am running them off my JL HD750/1 @ 4ohms but when i crank up the volume i can smell the subs cooking why is this???? Without music, life would be an error

Need Bass Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 They probably recoiled them themselves and didn't use heat resistant epoxy on the coil job... my brother learned that the hard way, that's just my guess though My Build Log Heros get remembered, but legends never die.
