That they are useful however I always see the best results in a cap only setup. There isn't much info on cap + bat setups and the little there is shows that they don't help much.

you know how to do it but remember it all depends on the cap brand bullz adio makes a horrible flavor you need at least a soundstream

I got a cap a few days ago for 10$ a 2 f and said fuck it lets see if it does something. Well I was getting volt drop from 14+ to mid 10v. Read off amp with dmm. I put the cap in and now I'm not going below mid 11v. At the amp. Don't plan on useing it full time, because I got this cap for a friend but it did help...
