ImaNoob Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Do you guys ever buy them ? Just wondering because i declined purchasing a extened warranty today and the Rep told me its not wise..Here is my take on it though, after the 1 year warranty if something breaks im sure it will be my fault anyway, Abuse Etc..And if its not my fault thats wha a tech would probably say...Is it worth it or not ??? 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Xs3400 1500BDCP FI BL 12 3sq @ 32hz Rockford t675 T400.2 Stinger Deadner Build Log Here
Azagtoth502 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 I never bother with them personally. pa-pa-platypus sorry not everybody has a companies nuts so far down their throat they catch every drop ball sweat when it falls
C-Fizzy Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Well let me give you an example that I just experienced. I bought a 42" Vizio tv 4 years ago. Bought the 5 year plan. Yesterday the Input controller (I think ) went out. Got a quote for shits and giggles, ended up being 5xx bucks. But warranty covered it. I think on certain items, it's definitely worth it. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
CW06Silvy Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 I dont bother unless i know the item could be sensitive or has a history of breaking.. good research helps you here 2006 Silverado Ext. Mobileaudio25 Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 I feel like it depends on the price and your usage... I bought 2 hifonics amps and the 3 year warranties on them were 32.00 total... Why not? That's about 10.50 a year just to have the extra reassurance
TS2GFrank Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 I buy them with my amps especially if know I'm gonna be hard on them. Like a .5 load or something. I rarely get extended warranty with subs tho. Like you said if it messes up after a whole year of usage its probably not the manufacturers fault.
