from what yours asking .... you did not have to make up some bullshit .. you should of just ask how to hook up a volt meter (vm-1 same shit) we are all lost in the car audio industry including me ...... btw red wire(power)(12v) black wire (ground) blue wire (remote)(12v on/off switch) were to hook up ??? were ever da hell you want it to be

If I were hooking up a volt meter, I would want to hook it up at the amp power supply to monitor the voltage the amp is getting.
