Moreno93 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Might be wrong thread.. But im wanting to swap out my 4X6's in the back of my truck to some 6.5 coaxial, maybe components. Has any one done this on there truck? I have a 2000 Silverado Ext cab. Or anyone in general done this to there car.?
CleanSierra Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Which location are these 4X6 located? I got 5.25 in my stock location. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
boom50cal Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 I've been thinking of a pair of 3 inch full ranges to replace the single 4x6's on each side for me. Assuming your truck is a regular cab, OP? On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.
CleanSierra Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 I took a grinder to my B pillar and squeezed some 5.25" components behind my head. I've got the amp gained WAY down so it isn't too brutal, I just wanted some front to back fade Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Moreno93 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 i have 6.5 Componets up front.. and 4x6 in back. I guess stock my truck came with a componet set ? My trucks a Extended cab 3 door.
Srh_rider12 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 i have an 04 extended cab i do not think they will not fit in mine the doors are to shallow. i would just find another set of 4x6 or find something that has a short mounting depth hope this helps!
