Insomnia Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 Alright, so I know it's near impossible to just 'estimate' how many decibels my system has, but even just a little guess is nice. I'm clueless and just curious as what i might be pushing. So I have two 12" CVX's rated at 750 rms each, with a 1500 watt spl amp, in a ported box. It's all set up in my 2005 honda civic SI hatchback. When I crank up the volume there is a small flex on my windshield and my rearview mirror moves around like crazy. ( I had to replace the old one because it completely fell off my windshield.) Like I said, I know it's hard to even estimate how many db this would be, but just a guess would help! I used an app on my phone to try to measure it and it only said 94db? I was expecting easily 110+, as it sounds pretty loud to me. But idk, I guess my system just may suck or something lol...
