slowfkncar Posted March 19, 2013 Author Report Posted March 19, 2013 Zx650.4 the cea rating says it does 160rms @ 4 ohms and 170rms @ 2 ohms. Pretty sure its a misprint since the birthsheet says 712 max rms and online claims 130rms@4 ohms. I must say, it gets louder then my old pdx 4.150

Not sure about placement yet. And I would really like to keep some sound in the rear because my seats will be going back in and I will have passengers
Altima1 Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 i see your seats do come out. so you have opening to car. still with 1 15 out of a trunk goodluck. do not expect a hairtrick. especially on only a Sundown 2.5k. have fun with build but dont expect hairtrick. you may be dissappointed. not gunna say its impossible, but goodluck It really depends on the box design for the sub he has. I know with mine @ tuning on music i clamp it at around 2k and it does hair tricks. around 3k at tuning on a tone. Of course a lot of other things need to be taken into account but its just not as easy as "throw it in" and get results lol There is one guy here doing a small hair trick with a single sp4 out of the trunk in a 4 door. slowfkncar Posted March 20, 2013 Author Report Posted March 20, 2013 Yes altima1, he means THAT build! Nice one! I just got it all completely wired. Waiting on my longer coil and cone for more xmax. I'm impressed actually, it moves air! Both windows down and it lifts hair about 2" away. I know its a small one, hopefully the recone helps out with it. And it moves the most at 26-29 Hz

Almost as if I were running twice the power. The only thing is now my roof and windows flexes like crazy even with two layers of 80 mill deadener and I can't for the life of me keep my sunroof from flapping open at full tilt. I will post some vids as soon as I have time and an open area. If it is not atleast 90 percent sealed your trunk will eat the leaking waves.
