I ordered mine from the local hardware/lumber store. paid $45 dollars for a sheet. Most the time you have to just special order stuff like that. In hindsight i think i should have doubled up on .5" or just used bracing.

first why no 1", because 90% of people here want it yesterday and wont want till tomorrow and preorder

3/4" reinforced will more then likely do job just as fine if not better

double 3/4" is a bit more expensive, but the after the second trip is probably the same + the box is twice as strong

now why

wank factor,

Why not do 2 layers of 3/4 birch? Probably just as good/lighter/cheaper than 1" MDF... Just a suggestion.

Duck said it was 45$ a sheet for 1" birch is 75$ a sheet so it defiantly not cheaper

I think/thought he was talking about MDF....? The 3/4" birch ply is only $32 for a 4'x8' sheet at menards here.

He is I forgot to put a period

Are you sure that's the good birch not the cheap one? Does it have voids?

Cause the good birch costs about 75$ a sheet

I was talking about MDF. Also, like Noob said, i had to wait till they placed an order and my stuff came in with it. 3/4 birch, at least the good A/A 13 ply stuff is $75 a sheet here.

I don't know about that stuff Will is talking about, i checked menards for baltic 3/4 and its $75 there too.

I just picked up another 5x5 sheet of baltic 15ply for about $50.

Its not a 4x8 but fits my need.
