I will be painting the port inside and out, therefore it needs a good finish. I haven't completely made up my mind yet, but body filler is necessary to get the finish I want.

I just love your work. Wish and hope mine is a 3rd that clean and exact.

Then... Cut it. And just share it with those that care about the end outcome. Fuck the rest of them that just wanna see the carnage.

Stay gold buddy... Most dont understand what ya have, nor what your doing. Cheers my friend.

SD, thank for the input. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

The port is looking good. As far as the hole...getting started is the hardest thing, I had my truck since it was 2 years old and I do all mechanical work to it myself. Just have a solid plan and jump in there and start drilling /cutting. Once you get started it's all good, the hard part is over.

I highly recommend using a large diameter hole saw for the corners and a grinder with sheet metal disc for the stragiht parts (nice and slow, eats it up like butter). And do a lot of measuring and centering and aligning first; instead of measure twice cut once, I measured like 4-5 times!

Take lots of pictures and maybe some video.
