Not sure of the dimensions, will measure when I get home but it's definitely tuned to 32hz, with a single port (L shape bandpass inside)

I was able to move loads of air with my previous settings (bass boost etc) even with the port facing up and me in the driver seat. Quite a lot of air actually. Also noticed that I smelt a bit of burning today with everything down, the subs were cold and no smell in the port. However the amp was quite warm, so maybe a wire could be burning?

Check grounds and all other connections to make sure they are solid. If you're amp is struggling or clipping that can cause heat. Bass boost normally clips your signal and clipping = heat which is probably why you were smelling your subs. You were running 1 before right? Now you're running 2? When you go from 1 sub to 2 subs your dividing the power on your amp so its possible you are lacking power which is why your setup sounded better with 1 than it does with 2. Upgrade the amp and electrical (battery, alt etc.)

The grounds have been re-checked last week, and all are fine. However the connections on the amp are only 4 gauge, so I've had to strip down my 0 gauge manually. Purchased some 0 gauge -> 4 gauge cable reducers so should get a bit more power.

I was running 1 around a month and a half ago now, but I meant before as in when I had my bass boost on full and bass enhancer on HU on level 1/2, last week. Also managed to get front windscreen and all passenger window flex, which I lack now

if im not mistaken this is one of the knocks on the optidrive. they smell. which makes it tough to tell if you are clipping and burning coil or if its just the smell.
