pervitizm
After three years and two court cases I finally got my 26's from the tire shop that held them ransomed from me for the past 30 months. The rims are brand new however because they ordered the wrong offset (+18 instead of +30) I'm now stuck with rims and tires that I can't mount on the truck without doing some trimming. I'm trying to avoid the trimming of inner fender as much as possible, so I was told that by going down a size are two in tires might help with the rubbing but add to a rougher ride. So I'm looking for any places online that I can find tires at and compare online prices to local tire shop prices. I currently have Lexani LX4000 305/30/26 series tires and I'm wanting to go down to a 295/30/26. I don't even know what brands of tires I need to look at. I have bad roads here where I'm at and hate having to go down in tire size, but I can't afford new rims right now and I just finally got these and would like to have one spring summer on them. 2007 Chevy Suburban LT1 Pioneer AVH 5700 DVD Diamond Audio D3 6 1/2 components Kicker 06ZX650.4 amp Kicker 06ZX2500.1 (x 2) DC Sound Lab Level 4 18's with Level 5 coils Autotek Mean Machine 400.1D (replaced) Soon to come: rims body kit flow master pipes Confuscious say "he who say it can't be done shouldn't be bothering man busy doing it" Now feel free to go crawl back under that rock and leave this to the professionals.... matt14
Craigslist.... I just bought some for my 22's brand new for about half off. If I where you, I would look around for some used tires in that size to make sure that they will fit. Its a lot cheaper to buy up 300 worth of used tires, then to make a purchase of 2000 for new tires that may or may not even fit. Go down to a couple of independant tire shops ( not a wheel works or big o) and see if they have any there. 2006 GMC YukonPioneer HU SHCA ran throughout Crescendo BC3500 One 18 AA Mayhem in a 4th order ZED Levithian 6 channel Rainbow Dual 6.5 comps ran Activehttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155628-matt14s-yukon-mayhem-in-a-4th-ordernew-amps-and-bats/page-
pervitizm
how about some wheel spacers instead of spending new money on tires Because the offset on the wheel is already off by a factor of 12. The 07 to current model GM trucks have a +30mm offset and the rims I have is +18. So they already stick out to the point of causing rubbing. I need the smaller tires to reduce some of the rub. I'm trying to avoid cutting my truck but I've got the feeling that I'm probably going to have to do some inner fender trimming. Don't want to buy new rims and tires and that's all that's out on CL in my area right now. Surely he will have the size you need.
