Wow... Is all I can think to say

Recommended Posts

I live in an hoa community. They can be nightmares. They just passed a resolution that your trash cans can not go on the curb prior to trash day and its a 100 dollar a day fine. not only that they have to be 10 ft past the easement. So basically in the middle of your yard. I dont know about you guys but I live in bear country. I really would prefer a bear is rooting around in the trash 75 feet away in the yard than up by my house to appease someones eyesore complaint. Especially when I can drive down the road and see many more worse things than that.

My Ex lived in a community like that. They had a rule that they had their own landscapers and you could not cut your own lawn, if spotted, you would get a fine.

But their landscapers wouldnt come around for a month at a time and the grass looked like a jungle.

im willing to bet if that goes viral he gets the grand to do it.

Hang the flag from a pole on your house. Its no longer a structure then its attached to a structure. ;)

Agree with the second part. I'm pretty sure the video said a guy on their facebook (news channel) said he'd pay the money. To me this is besides the point, he shouldn't have to get permits and hire someone so that he can fly his country's flag.

Oh and screw HOA's. They are Nazi's and from what I hear, its usually an unemployed older women (50+) who has nothing better to do! In a neighborhood in St.Pete over looking Tampa Bay, you can't drop a cigarette butt in your own lawn, have wood fence, fences have to be like 4 ft high and chain link :bull: .

I live in a HOA community as well... Knock on wood I have never had an issue with them... It did work to my benefit when it came to having issues with my neighbor driving like a Dick head... Due to a private community when i contacted police they wouldnt come and do anything.. I brought the issue up to my HOA and they brought the cops in to run radar and they caught him and dealt with the issue and so far he has slowed down some lol...

Agree or disagree, I want to see some pictures of this flag pole. Or just dimensions.

If the man is flying a flag 15x25 flag on a 100' "homemade" flag pole in a residential neighborhood, he needs to follow the codes and ordinances like every other contractor in America does, to insure that it's installed to code and not a safety issue.

If he's flying a 4x6 flag off a 12' pipe from the hardware store, good for him. Fly the flag.

Edit: Missed the video the first time. I'm not sure why the neighbor would even complain about it.
