Kyblack76 Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Posted April 13, 2013 Ok... I have a 2 different crimp tools. My old faith full. My PANDUIT The key with both are the proper fittings/eyelets. They are made, strictly for the gauge in use. On the "arms" of the tool, are the different sized "chucks" that are for the different sized eyelets for the wire gauge in use. So, the eyelets i use, are made and sized for the gauge. I chose to use another crimp tool for this go round. Kyblack76 Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Posted April 13, 2013 Anyway.. Ya all saw the honey of a power house Mike sent me. Well, i went to work,.. after work. Removed the 3400.. AGAIN. and picked the member, that needed REMOVED. I chose to swap in new bearings, and idler. Thanks to MIke, it fit like a glove. He did all the needed issues, after the powder coat. (tapped and cleaned threads that were needed, and reamed and clearanced mount holes as needed) Was a perfect fit. Matches the theme, dead ass bang. Love it. I did put new bearings, and new idler in. But, i did not feel warm and fuzzy about the spring tensioner. So, im going to get a new one tomorrow. Put the new spring tensioner in, with my new GATES belt, and ill get this bad ass spinning. I also need to still repair some OEM wire that is making me unhappy, just because of age. As well as repairing some POOP that someone before me that owned it did. Anyway. I also need wire. And im going to order some DAmore patch cables, after i send the RF ones i ordered (wrongly) back to SONIC. Just a total SMASH, to me,. works. but,..... hell, i can do that in a vice. Know what i mean? Im sure both are more than fine for the application though. That crimper is bad ass!
