SnowDrifter
The little pamphlet that came with my battery had conflicting charging instructions on it and I'm not really sure what to make of the information provided. It says the maximum charging voltage is 2.45vpc, but then on the voltage vs. temperature chart, it will suggest a higher charging voltage for lower temperatures. So which do I listen to? D1400 I need to know what voltage to set my charger at haha Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
purplesyrup
I'd go for a 2 amp trickle
Pioneerchuck
Id say anywhere from a 2.00 - 2.30 trickle charge would probably do pretty good.

SnowDrifter
I'm asking about voltage, not amperage XD The lowest my charger goes is 5 amps which works perfect since it's a 50ah battery. But I still need to know what voltage it needs to be at for the absorption phase of charging. Nathan @ XSpower
Instructions say not to exceed 2.45V per cell for extended periods of time (5 min max). Need to charge around 16.6-16.8V with the 14V batteries and 15amps is the optimal amperage. A 12V charger or a 16V charger will not work.
