pcummings32
how much of a difference will a wall of 4 15s at the c pillar make vs walled at the b pillar? its in a 99 tahoe 4 dr. id really like to keep my back seats and go behind the C pillar if its not going to make too much of a difference. tacomaguy1
a big difference usually....bpillar usually being louder, less area to pressurize Team Flex Issues
MikeMartel
Usually your just better off to make a street box instead of doing a c pillar wall..
x91evo
what are you basing this off of? Usually your just better off to make a street box instead of doing a c pillar wall..
HunterJohnson
C pillars are harder to get loud with same equipment as a B pillar Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass
98GCLimited
Would it be a myth that the lows (upper 20s and LOW 30s) would be better on a Cpillar vs Bpillar because the waves have a longer distance/time to develop? Particularly speaking about a 4th order wall. Not concerned about numbers really never been on a meter and there are few if any comps here unless I would drive 2-4hours each way. I dont compete. It would be a daily setup and maybe some demos.
Bradprobert
if its just a daily setup i wouldn't make a wall just a street box with the same equipment and save the hassle. barney91
The real question should be c-pillar wall or normal box, subs up port back, Alpine 9884 RF T2 comp set up front The Epicenter 2x RF T10001bd 2x Sundown sa-15 t-line Big 3 Smd DD-
HunterJohnson
C pillar should definitely be subs forward and port forward. mrd6
C-pillars can still get loud and sound very good doing it. If you dont mind the extra work doing the wall over a cargo area box, the wall will be worth it IMO.
