Shyne151
Well I haven't had subs in my car in over a year(got rid of my monte and sold everything, wrecked one grand prix on the way to pick up some equipment to put in!, and now i'm on my current grand prix)... It's time to put some bump back in the trunk What I have to work with is a viper 1200.1(1200wrms@1ohm) and about 4-5cubes to work with. I want to do a 15" just due to the fact I've never done one and want something a little lower... Choices: 13w7(i get employee accommodation on it, but JL only sends out refurbs for employee purchases???) the price is a little high on this one even with discount MTX 9500 15" -price isn't bad... cheaper than I can get FI for. They dont' come in dual2 though? or so the website claims. RF T2 15" - about same as I can get the 9500 for *i think*. FI Q FI BL Now these last two I'm not too sure on... I haven't heard anything FI in person, but I know they have been every forums boner for the last year. I understand the Q is more for quality and the BL is more of a daily driver/spl. I'm kinda leaning towards the BL... I don't compete, it is just basically something to bang Opinions... please Edited February 13, 2008 by Shyne151 Quote -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. AI James
id probably get the Q out of all your options, maybe the BL if you care less about sound and want a little more volume

I had double RMS on my w7 and it never blew or even smelt. I ended up trading it for an 06 XXX, but it was a great sub at the time i had it. Shyne151
After reading over at *** and CA.com I decided to go with the Q... Got a week off school for spring break coming up, so I'm gonna throw everyhing in then. Sad I used my money to pay off my credit cars and buy a sub, instead of going on spring break! Ohh well I'll enjoy the sub more(especially since we party just as hard here haha) Quote -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune. littleitaly1990
Fi is great....good choice, you will be very happy! ...by the way, the BL, at least in my box, sounds great. It has far better sound quality than I ever heard or expected out of the sub, but I might just be lucky. Quote A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.
