Tim2902
The car's definitely in good hands now. It always gives us a good feeling to be able to help someone out, especially an old buddy, when they get screwed over. I've fixed plenty of f'd up stuff for friends and family before. But dayuum! I ain't NEVER seen sh!t like that that actually left ANY shop with a bill attached! Much less a 5K bill! Wow! Just wow!
alexd619
5000 for that? i wouldn't even that that if it was free. For and SMD build if i had that type of money sure anyday but shit like that is why ppl need to ask for customer references before paying a shop so they can follow up with previous customers Quote Build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/166486-alexs-02-intrepid-budget-build/ 2 12" SKAR Audio VVXv2 d4 @ 1ohm vvme qa-d1500 Pioneer Head unit deh-8400bh 2 Kenwood KFC-1693PS 3-Way 6.5" 2 stock sail speakers/tweeters (Infinity premium stock) Polk Audio DB351 3.5" (upgraded from a factory 2.75" speaker or something weird like that dremeled to fit) 2 Sony Xplod XS-R6944 6" x 9" 4-Way's

Justscrap
Daaaayum! Wtf! They hacked the f*ck out of that dope @$$ chevelle! I'd be hella pissed! 5k?? Must be some expensive @$$ duck tape and butyl. That's some crazy ish! How can the shop be okay with giving him his car back knowing that job is F*cked and to hack up a dope car. He should get every penny back. A least now he's gettin it done right and big! Lookin sick already Steve! Can't wait for the finish product and how this will look and sound when it's all done... Quote if you put a DD-1 in your amp terminal and it immediately went up in smoke, i would be concerned. If you shoved your dick in the terminal and it didn't blow up but a month later it blew up, i STILL WOULDN'T be able to blame your dick. It just does not make sense at all. CleanSierra
Maybe the 5 grand was to replenish their supply of electrical AND duct tape. They seem to be very fond of those two items for their installs. Sad to see a car with such potential get treated so poorly. Ill be watching this one Steve, great job so far. I'm curious to see what you do with the amps and the processor 1 Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
qu1cks1lver56
$5,000?! I nearly shit a brick when I read that. What a hackjob, and I'm gonna go ahead and predict you'll be building another box. With an install like that, I can't see their box being built much better. 1 Quote First Gen Xterra: Always changing DNX 690HD RF 360.3RF T3002RF T4004RF T10001bdSilver Flute 6.5"s Tang Band 1" TweetersSundown X18 in 7cubes net tuned to 32hz Trust me .25 Blows your Load. FeelDaBass
I could understand 5K for your work Steve, but a job like that...just wow. Glad to see he has you to fall back on to fix such a mess. Can't wait to see what you do with this. And I hope you redo the box anyway! It's always fun to see what you can come up with.
