So.... You have an amp sitting under a seat, wires all willy nilly and free to get snagged/chopped in the seat slide rail....... Card board for a rear deck holding a pair of speakers up...... and speaker w/crossevers just screwed onto the trim by your floorboards.....

no. if this car has the same doors as my 94 corolla did, (which it should because its basically the exact same fuggin car. same fuel pump location, same seats, same center console, same motor etc) then they are 4" in the front doors.

my car came with 4x6 speakers in the doors and I put 6 1/2 in the doors... behind factory door panel

I completely agree. No excuse for a piss poor install. wait until you HAVE the money to do the proper install worst case scenario.
