I found me box builder for my truck. the enclosure would be a little over 2.4 cubic ft. net so my options are quad 8's in a custom enclosure or two 10's in a fox acoustics enclosure. if I go with the quad 8's what's a good option to go with under $140 per sub our $220 with the dual 10's? I want something thats sound good but somewhat loud at the same time

Post your max dims for a box and the subs and amp you are wanting to use. 2.4 cubes NET will do for 4 E8s.

I have 3 Sundown e8s that I bought for like $90 each. I absolutely love them. They have pretty crazy excursion for a small sub, sound great, and are a lot of fun to watch get down lol. I wouldn't do them sealed though. Jacob from Sundown told be that they will definitely not perform well in a sealed enclosure. If you are going for spl, a pair of sa 10s might be better than 4 e8s, but 10s (at least when you only have 2) are kinda boring, where having 4 8s will be interesting and sound good as well. Just my opinion though.

Two tens would be the way to go.

2 Sa-10 (in a custom enclosure) would be a good start. (2 fi SSD 10's would be a better choice in my opinion.)

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

you could do 4 sd8 or e8 in 0.5net each facing foward or 2 sa,sd or e10 in 1net each

with 2x 4" aero 25" long out each side, 2net @34hz

just depends if you want sealed or ported

my opion if you can aford and power 4 sa8 ported idd do that

if not i like the way the sd210 sound sealed and 4 would get loud

You have about 2.55gross not net

That will give you close on 1.3net @33hz with slot port

If you do sealed or aero you'll have a bit more

Because you can fit and it fits in you budget why not

4x sd2 10" sealed on 2k

i originally wanted two sa10's but i dont think i have the depth

what make the ssd's better if you dont mind me asking

so would the four sealed 10's be louder than two ported?

The SSDs are better because they can handle 1000 Watts RMS and they're a nicer driver than the SA 10. The Fi also gets my vote for the 10" option. 4 Skar VVX 8s would be my pick in that airspace though. Motor force+cone area=win

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
