Pioneerchuck
I am referring to no thumb safety. Neither of mine have a magazine safety. The built in trigger safety on my 9 is about worn out anyway. Ive never been a fan of a gun that didnt have a safety of some sort. I am not sure how you feel about it, but they have always worried me.
Hunters21w
Have you ever pulled the trigger by accident? Again, in a quality holster there should be no problem. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
MrSkippyJ
nope. I have a good holster, but I don't want that one time to be the one time ya know. Plus I haven't practiced pulling the gun out of the holster enough yet. Wood
i do not keep one in the chamber, but only because I have no safety. What gun are you referring to? If Glock, there most certainly is a safety on it. Multiple to be exact. They are just not external. I carry every gun with one in the chamber. Can anyone afford not to? Certainly not me. I was referring to my M&Ps. No safeties. I have an M&P Also, I keep one in chamber, full clip!!! The Safety on the M&P is the trigger and any gun holder knows NEVER put your finger on the trigger unless you plan to squeeze it!! So to me thats all the safety I need, and like Lbox said, under stress you dont want to do anything extra because nothing will be as accurate as you practice it! 2011 Nissan Altima aka Red Ruby HEADUNIT: Pioneer AVH X2700BS ELECTRICAL: -Singer 230a -Northstar gr34 -(2) Northstar SMS220 w/ Custom Terminals from 12V Metalworkz -100% Welding Cable FRONT STAGE:-(2 Sets) Hertz HSK165 -Hertz HSK130 -Ampere Audio 125.4 SUB STAGE: -(3) Sundown Audio SA REV2 12's -Ampere Audio 3800.1 V2 MISC (NON AUDIO RELATED): -Interior & Exterior Lights LED -Gloss Black Roof (PAINTED) -15% Front, 5% Rear Tint -Roof Spoiler -20" TSW Snettertons (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) -Custom Projector Retrofit (FX-R 3.0, 6.5k HID, Morimoto Mini H1 (faux projector), Quad Starry Night Halos) ----- COMING SOON!! -Aftermarket Fog Lights -Custom Painted Engine Covers My Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169869-woods-2011-altima-aka-red-ruby-new-video-more-updates/page-109 Retrofit Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/185787-hid-projector-retrofitting-diy-by-wood/#entry2765346
MrSkippyJ
I know, I know. But here is my thing. First, the trigger safety is there, but one is pretty worn out. The other thing is, I am going to do what I am comfortable with, especially when dealing with something as dangerous as a gun. I am not going to keep one in the chamber because that is what other people think I should do. Once I get WAY more comfortable holstering and unholstering the gun I may start to leave one chambered. But until then it will remain unchambered. Hunters21w
Practice practice practice. Try at home unloaded or even with the dummy rounds. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
