corona_jeff Posted July 17, 2015 Report Posted July 17, 2015 I had cca in the Honda forever. It lasts about 15mo before it melted under the hood. In 4 years I've had to replaced t it 3times and cost me a battery. All closed ring terminals. System is small. Just a JL 1000/1

It costs more, but CCA is just a waste of money in my opinion. it has nothing to do with load carrying capability. It's all about voltage drop across a length of wire.amp for amp, OFC is just better and more efficient. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
