The box will be firing into the passenger B-Pillar with amp rack on the right this time. Looking into a black carpet for rack and a black pleather, or something nice/cheaper for the box. With a Grey trim. The box will also have a foam padding under the covering. I think plumbers tape with some cushion under it would work great...stout but not going to break the PVC. Krakin Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2013 I get the cut as close to the 3.5" diameter as possible (obviously). Then get an even coat, not too big or it takes forever and a day to dry, all around the inside edges of the port. If I have a side that is a little too big of a gap for the glue to dry into it I throw some pvc or mdf dust on it. Once again on the inside so it doesn't get all ugly looking on the outside and visible. Then I repeat until there is more than enough glue for a strong air tight bond.
