Krakin Posted September 19, 2013 Author Report Posted September 19, 2013 Got a Rockford T-400.4 in today! Got it pretty cheap because it was categorized wrong and had a few scratches. And now for the gut shots! I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
CleanSierra Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 The 4 screws on the back side, are they the ones that release the cover? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
Krakin Posted September 19, 2013 Author Report Posted September 19, 2013 The 4 screws on the back side, are they the ones that release the cover? Yep Watch out for the LED plastic as it isn't secured in just sits on top of the LED bulbs on the PCB. Krakin Posted October 1, 2013 Author Report Posted October 1, 2013 Got my Rockford T3s in today!I was disappointed when I got home, was sure that they would have been dropped off.... Walked right by the box... It was about 31/2 feet tall, made me think it was an order for my dad. audiolamb6 Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 wish i had gottin those kick myself every time someone post them
Krakin Posted October 2, 2013 Author Report Posted October 2, 2013 I love them already. I was naive when I bought my kicker components, that the dealer said have rubber cone and it will never break! I think I am loving these too much to put them in my truck. They are in my room right now see much more play time then my >20min drive back and forth from school. I will most likely make some cabinets for them and just throw them in my truck one day when I'm bored. Then I will hate the SQ of them in the doors and have to learn fiber-glassing to put them in the kicks and A-Pillars.
