wire from alt to rear batt vs front batt to rear batt

Recommended Posts

I prefer alt. Since it is the primary source of power, running off the alt makes it so the electrical current has one less connection to travel through.

Plus in my case, it saves some wire

Mechman recommends alt to front batt, then to your back batts. That's how mine are, works great.

same here, and i dont know how much better it could be considering i have 0 (zero) voltage loss from front battery to the back at the amp, over kill power and grounds FTW!!!

I like both....

A run to the front, and a run to the rear bank....

Pick your poison ....

funny you say that cause this post made me think about that, one to front bat then back to back batt bank then amp other run straight back to rear batt bank then amp, not sure if any benefits though

If the big 3 is done then its pretty much both if you think about it...plus why wouldn't you wanna have the extra reserve from the front batt?
