1200 watts for $56.99! - To good to be true? Cheap amp tested: SMD AD-1 Amplifier Dyno

Just like the title says - i recently bought an amp at a local electronics store. It was too good to be true. I bought it with the mind set of some kid who might see the big ass "1200 Watts" on the box and buy it, hoping to dominate the BLVD. For 56 bucks, lets put it to the test! Actually, you might be surprised! Video is uploading right now, lets hear some guesses before i post the link.

also, i know you guys might know the brand by the way it looks but i blocked out the name, to be a nice guy.

Steve, if you ever start a program where we send amps for you to test, it would be pretty bad ass if you posted all the results on the forums so we can see what amps are good and what amps are bad. Maybe that would be an incentive to make certain amp company's step up their game. Good shit man.

I just talked to him on FB about sending a no-name amp that I have had for years that has never seen power, and I don't want it anymore anyway.

Hell, he can make a video afterwards of him blowing it. I was planning on doing it myself sometime

They need to add a disclaimer that they got their power at 46% THD, I think that would clear up the confusion. I wish you would clip the ever loving SHIT out of the amp and see what kind of numbers you can get. Gain pot maxed maybe? Bwahahahaha
