CXMaudio
Okay, sorry I haven't posted any pics or updates. I kinda have a small issue holding me up right now. Maybe someone has some advice for me:) So here is my issue..... I have a sunroof! I have a feeling that 4 sa 12s are going to flex that sunroof like crazy, It would also be very hard to seal up around the wall properly if it was there. I talked to a guy about removing it; however, he wants $400 dollars to weld a new piece of sheet metal up there. ($400 dollars that I need for batteries:) lol) Any advice would be awesome. Should It stay or should it go? I have seen plenty of people do walls with sunroofs, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad??? scooter99
I would almost say do it. Get it solid cause without it being solid, your batteries aren't going to matter when you suffer on the scores because of this. Just saying. OrionStang
Lose the sunroof. Then start saving again for batteries. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
scooter99
I actually have the same concerns for mine, although I'm not doing a wall. I use mine all the time though and I'm not competing either. CXMaudio
Purchased some 0 gauge wire the other day and did some work on the electrical system. I ran 5 runs of 0 gauge total.... 2 ground and 3 power. I haven't purchased batteries or alternator yet. I am thinking of going with 3 Deka Intimidator 9A31's in the back w/ a yellow top in the front. For an alternator I would like to get rid of the ac and do dual 200 amp alternators (maybe just one to start with though). as far as the sunroof goes, I still don't want to pay $400 so I am going to talk to some more people..... see if I can get it done a little cheaper:) I don't think I mentioned yet that this is my first wall build. I just want to again thank all of you for all of your support and advice... I really appreciate it. The wire I used was purchased from DIYMA. I used some black radiator hose stuff to protect the wire from rubbing on the sharp edges of the firewall. Here the wires are ran though the firewall. The hose will protect the wires from grounding themselves out over time. I like wires to be run nice and neat My YouTube Chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/cxmaudio *subscribe*

CXMaudio
Did a little more work to my car today. I put the 2x4s for the roof together. I didn't screw it on though because of the sunroof Also cut some birch for the floor... I didn't do much, but I guess every little bit helps. I talked to a different guy about removing my sunroof. I think I will take my car to him this week and see if I can get a quote. I will let you all know how that goes. i just set it in there to get an idea. planing out the cuts I was so glad to see this......
