Put it on some car amplifier power!

Probably a good 1.3"-1.5" peak to peak excursion or so.

That's about 500W rms

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.

also.. i may have missed it... but.. gorilla glue... reallllyyyyy??

Remember that this was just to do the spare parts, and a little practice. I didn't want to use my CA glue already, it's not exactly super cheap.

So yeah, really. It was just to give you guys a little pre-show, not the final product at all. Everything I used was totally extra and cheap anyway.

What kind of box do you think this sub will end up in when you get it built? It's a 15" sub right? Do you have an idea about what kind of airspace it will want or amount of port area, etc?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Sorry for having other important concerns like school and family and limited amounts of time and money. As well as a reliance on other manufacturers for crucial parts like magnets (2 week wait on each order), milled steel plates(1 month wait per order), and voice coils(2 week wait per order).

If this was just the subwoofer alone, sure it would have been done, because I'd have $1500 more after not buying an amp, alt, wiring, and whatnot, but this is a whole system build, it takes time.

18", definitely ported. Probably downfiring and I want to look into cutting a rectangular hole out of the back dash so that it can flow more freely into the cab.

Not quite too sure about specifics yet, but I'm thinking a lower tuning with a fair amount of port space, but I do want to save weight where I can, not like handling it up to ferrari standards around the curves lol so the box won't be overly huge if I can help it. Maybe 5.5-6.0cuft to start thinking at least?

You have room for the enclosure in the trunk of the Chevelle? You have any idea what kind of airspace your going to need for it? Or any specific guess on Xmax to be able to figure out port area?

Yeah the trunk is pretty spacious actually. I don't want to build it inside the trunk if I can help it though so it might be somewhat thinner. Haven't taken dimensions yet, I still want to replace the trunk pan since it's all rusted through completely, wouldn't want to put too much weight on it lol. So If I weld the new one in I'll have more exact dimensions then.

Xmax will probably be around 3.0"-3.4" I would guess probably on the higher side a little. (peak to peak of course)
