dolarbilz Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 not really a budget lol, im just to impatient to save a few bones out of a couple paychecks. Patients is key in car audio..unless you have buckets of cash..save up for a solid battery instead of cap.
notorious97200 Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 Calculate the box first, then chose the sub(s). The sp4 is a monster. You're sure you want to go that route ? I'd get 2 sundown SA subs, or 2 Dc level 3 on that amp. You can buy one sub and a box. And later a second one with a second box. On the same amp. Be careful on your choice with the VC config : it needs to "fit" your amp. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
loudNlow87 Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 just checked out that FI Q18... but its only 1500 rms. is that a smart move on a 2k watt amp? i know it prolly aint pushing a full 2k but at 350 a piece for a sub thats a hell of a chance My buddy has a Q 15. Super nice sub for the money. It will take 2K all day long, but that sub will never see 2K rms on your daily music. You'd be really depressed to see what box rise does to your power output. zydrix Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 To be honest get a SQ HDC3 18" amazing subs!! If u want 1 that would probably be impossible for u to blow with that amp.
