Just when we thought we were going to have 1 of the most serious center consoles in existence, you decide that 1 5k isnt enough lol? Excellent work and i cant wait to see this thing play! And maybe one day i could get a demo! I love seeing all those connections going on especially the dual inputs! Might have to wait till monday to get the all the alternator wiring in because I need to cut up some aluminium but should be done with grounding this beast...used up almost 40ft so far in ground cable on the just the front! Will have more pics tonight or tomorrow...back to work! goodvibez Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 So here all my under the hood ground cables all wrapped in techflex and heat shrink drivers side gound location Here I'm just showing why my terminals are slanted...just wanted more surface area of the block to contact the terminals passenger side grounding So I showed a while back where all the wire is coming into the cab and yesterday I found a perfect gromet for the job! Its for a trailer tail light, they are made so the lights can just pop in and out of these...plenty of sizes and styles to choose from we use them alot at work...but not for this lol! just had to do a little cutting but it was worth it...nice and protected now! Also bought a pack of the SHCA zip ties 100 for 8 bucks! Great deal! And they are different from the thousands of others I've used...waaay thin and flexable seem very strong well worth it...can't beat it honestly Ran out of time with my help here to run and positive cable but I've got other stuff I can work on till that happens. Bought a new snap-on 1/2" flex head rachet and got these fo free! on a build note I have got quite a bit done on another project that I'm waiting to be finished to show all the pics of that, but it's almost done! goodvibez Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Small progress today.... ....got the distribution bars made up for the alts, asked my friend Tommylee if he could cut some strips from the 3/8" angled aluminium but he decided that wasn't good enough lol Scored me some half inch and cut it at his work for me Needed a 90 degree angle in it though so we ghetto rigged a setup in the press and it actually worked! little shy of 90 degrees but it actually came out better that it didn't Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it.
