goodvibez
Added some more rgb's to the back these ones are slightly different in looks and after powering them up they dont exactly match the ones in the amp but they are close..I think I paid like 5-6 bucks for the pack I put 2 in the port 3 over the buss bars 2 inside each mids and highs amp rack so lights up quite a bit better this way soldered everything result and a little vid walk around of the new improvements DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT SOTM!!! ONLY 56 PEOPLE HAVE CAST VOTES..KINDA SAD! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! goodvibez
ok made a little more progress on the truck...this ones for you scooter haha painted all the switches black Will look better imho Then decided to bend some plexi to make a shield for my positive buss bar cut to size painted underside black and put white decals on topside figured it was positive so it should be red Then peeled decals I liked it so I put some clear on it...messed it all up wrinkled most of the paint...said screw it so I wrapped it in some carbon fiber and it worked ok the dc logo came out kind of embossed so it looks kinda cool from certain angles Want to thank Kylar for the advice on bending the plexi Also Thanks everyone for the votes I REALLY Appreciate it!!! SOTM is something Ive wanted to enter since I fist joined here..only took like three years to get a vehicle ready lol! Love how even after you've done this much you're still cleaning it up, adding little touches and details. Haha thanks man I appreciate that!...hopefull the day will come when I say this thing is done because I dont need to be spending anymore money on it lol! The embossed logo looks awesome actually I actually like it...I liked it whenn it was black and white...the red was iffy but oh well now it bleds more..would have made more sense to do an xs power logo but I had no decals..I use them for masking rather than actual stickers..I lost my other sky high one or I would have done that honestly I think one of your lights fell down, haha! Haha Yes it did for some reason those lights come wired twisted so the wires dont lay flat its really stupid but I used some better doublesided tape and fixed it haha the cheap stuff it comes with is very cheap! Looks good man! I take it no future plans of back seats? Probably said before? Thanks! Yes rear seats will be out of a 2001 yukon denal third row and I build special bracket that allow the seat to be folded down then forward then unclip ou in about 10-15 seconds so its easy to work on stuff theres pics of the mock up with the seat in the truck like 5-6 pages back I think so tonights little project was making a piece to fit in that big hole in the console so it looks finished..I dont know how long I'll keep it I may move the ac controls down but Heres what I did theres about 4 layers thick of 1/8th inch plexi glued together I'll glue it in tomorrow and run the wires but came out pretty good I'll just get a decal made up that says duramax or something Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it.
