so I decided I need to hide some of my ugly wiring...got half of it done on the rear driver's side

also some pics of my now functional seats

and in my style I used stainless allen head 1/4-20's to fasten it down..solid!

and my seats are fully finctional

so have to finish up the passenger side infront of the battery and I'll be done with that..stupid expanding foam ruined my carpet :/

I'll have to find a way to fix that without ripping out all of my carpet

As far as i know there are no solvents out there that will eat the foam once cured but I have heard uv light will break it down so maybe maybe one of those uv light guns.

If it hasn't gotten too deep into the carpet the best bet is use a razor blade or scissors. I had some expanding foam get on towels during a home renovation. Through my research I've read dry ice followed by Goof Off or Lift Off foam remover.

My guess is this might discolor the carpet but you can always try to find carpet and upholstery paint to match it back. I never tested with the cotton towels because I couldn't find dry ice and the price of the remover was about as much as a new towel.

The 1000+ all purpose cleaner will not work. Don't fall for the videos in the google search. It does not active chemicals that can effectively dissolve urethane based foams.

Thanks for all the replies guys...This stuff wil have to be cut out :? It's been there all year long since January.

My thinking is I may just cut the carpet out and maybe have some custom floor mats made out of similar carpet or something else I dunno. But I'm not ripping out the whole truck just to place the carpet...since you can only see the carpet in about 2% of the truck.

oh well...I have a few more trim panels to make before I call the truck done. So it's getting close

so for some reason the one thing people admire most is how much wire is in this truck lol! I'm like yeah it's allot but nothing compared to most the rides i see around here haha! This truck gets so much dust inside I had to clean up my wires and covers so snapped a few pics

finally got some time to finish the passanger side trim panel...getting closer...of and the amp is not secure the four outside bolts on the amp screw into nutserts on the baseplate before was kind of ghetto rigged lol...I still need to go back to the drivers side and do the same thing.
