i came across this amp and heard its the same ass the xxx15k , im thinking of running this amp at around 13-14volt just looking to get about 5000rms at .5 opinions ?

Notice the 16 volt rating expect far less than that in a 12 volt c a r.

you think it would still be powerful enough to power 2 xl m2 at .5? because every other amo that does 4-5Kw is about the same price as this

If you're dropping serious cash like that, it's a better idea to get an amp you know will power your subs well. A DC 5k would be my first recommendation.

Go with something that you know is proven and not something you are having to ask around and hope you get what you need.

I know old school Precision Power stuff was legit, not sure about the new. Also something that would turn me off is the price. a true 10k amp at .5 ohm for $1200? I think alot of people would be jumping on this if it were true.
