Voltage drop need help please read!

Hi, i am new to the site and I just recently got a sundown zv3 12 and have a rf t1500bdcp amp pushing it. It's wired at one ohm right now and I am getting a pretty bad voltage drop not even at full tilt. I turned it down when i seen 11.8. I need some advice, right now I have a stock alternator in my truck which is a 2011 f-150. I have done the big three and that's about it. I am wondering if i should do a second battery or change out the stock battery under the hood? Give me your input. Thanks

xs d6500 under the hood and a 250ish amp alt if thats not enough.

I would replace the front batt first.. and see what happens for 1500rms it would be good but not necessary to get a HO alt

do u have big 3 in 0 gauge?

Yes the big three is 0gauge. Well the 1500 isn't all i have I have about 300 watts for my mids and high. I really want to stay away from an alternator, because it is a huge pain to get to (bottom of the engine near the oil pan lol)

differently up the battery and alt I have the older t1000bd amp before the big 3 9v after 11v stable so you will see difference their.Thats with everything stock 90amp alt to and battery.

Okay, so i just found out the stock alternator on my truck is 155amps. I think I might be able to get away with just a second battery

How did you set your gains?

that 155amp alt not enough, for my t1000bd I need a 170 or 200amp alt with a good battery under the hood if your not going to up the alt your going to need 2-3 extra battery

Replace your under hood battery with a big one,make sure your battery has solid and big enough grounds to support the chassis ground in the rear (or just do the big 3)

Just remember,to many batteries on your stock alt may not fully charge while slammin your sounds driving.
