sundownford
Hi, i am new to the site and I just recently got a sundown zv3 12 and have a rf t1500bdcp amp pushing it. It's wired at one ohm right now and I am getting a pretty bad voltage drop not even at full tilt. I turned it down when i seen 11.8. I need some advice, right now I have a stock alternator in my truck which is a 2011 f-150. I have done the big three and that's about it. I am wondering if i should do a second battery or change out the stock battery under the hood? Give me your input. Thanks

OrzechNJ
I would replace the front batt first.. and see what happens for 1500rms it would be good but not necessary to get a HO alt do u have big 3 in 0 gauge? Welcome ;] sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
sundownford
Yes the big three is 0gauge. Well the 1500 isn't all i have I have about 300 watts for my mids and high. I really want to stay away from an alternator, because it is a huge pain to get to (bottom of the engine near the oil pan lol)

slowfkncar
Replace your under hood battery with a big one, make sure your battery has solid and big enough grounds to support the chassis ground in the rear (or just do the big 3)
