Wood's -2011 Altima- AKA "Red Ruby" : New Build (pg.150) #SpringBling

Recommended Posts

I would have went with a single AA Havoc personally.

Sucks to hear about your gear man that really does suck. Glad you bounced back though

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

That's my plan actually, wanted to hear Wood's setup first to see if the SP4 was what I wanted.

Wood did you get rid of the SP4 already?

Yessir! All equipment sold fast because I sold it at crackhead prices lol Lost a lot of money, but it's cool. One thing I will say, is that sub is a BEAST and sounds good doing it! The couple shows I went to, I actually drew big crowds (surprisingly compared to other peoples bigger setups) and got crazy amounts of compliments.... Don't be afraid to get the SP4! As far as AA Havocs, I never heard them personally so I can't pass judgment.

Alright so I have slightly changed the build AGAIN :spiteful:

As the title says, I've decided to do 3 Soundqubed HDS210s for the substage... I wanted to try a different route with this one and see if I can build something decently loud on low power, so I decided to add a little cone area and coil to disperse some heat!

With that being said, I'll be dropping the CT 1400 down to .67 B)

So far I have EVERYTHING minus one sub (because on the last minute change of plans) and wires... I plan to have this baby fully playing by mid next month in time for Texas Heatwave!

Box build will begin this weekend!!

Anyways enough yapping, on to the pics!!!

S/O to Poorfish88 for hooking me up with the matching CT 60.4.. I'll be bridging my HSKs to get around 125-150rms to them! Should sound pretty good since my doors are fully sealed!

S/O to CT Sounds for hooking me up with the 1400 for SOTM last month!! :yahoo:

Sooo SEXXY!!

All that's missing is one sub and wires.. other than that, it's a GO!!!

Enclosure designed and ready to be built!! Although it's tuned around 35 on paper, it should drop a little after loading off the trunk... This will be a subs up port back setup since my damn trunk is so small!

Thanks man. Sorry to hear about all the bad luck on the system. I cant way to see the enclosure with 3 10's. I did one a few years back with 3 RF P3 off a T1000.1 bd and it got pretty loud.

It's all good, im not tripping honestly... it gave me the experience for when I'm ready to go larger lol but for now, you know I'm back to the baby build lol But I honestly think this 3 10 build will have a lot of potential! esp with me having the electrical to support that CT 1400 with NO problem (was dropping to mid 12s full tilt on the Ampere 3800 and that was with a bad battery so basically I was just on alt and front battery).. I'm pretty anxious, it should do great! Not really concerned about numbers but it should definitely get down by ear!!
