Recommended Posts

Alright, Lets get back to work... enough Rockford Admiration, time to get on to the BEAUTIFUL Components ;)

But first, lets take these door panels off!

Stock 3" Tweeter.... Now let me tell ya'll something about Nissan.... THESE MF and whatever logic they had, DEFINATELY wasn't thinking about aftermarket upgrades.... These were a PITA to remove.. it took 3hrs to remove TWO SCREWS!!!!!!!!!! As you will see in the picture, The is a screw up against the windshield that was so close, a drill bit could BARELY fit.... After 3 full turns the bit would be flush against the glass and I had to use needle nose pliers to turn the rest for removal smh... But its done ;) Here's the POS Tweeter that gave me HELL

IMG_0395_zpsa31c6cca.jpg

This is a top view looking in the glass... notice the windshield wiper and that screw hole right under it...... yea, that was the POS screw that had took 3hrs of my life away LOL

Man I know what you're talking about, on my 1997 Grand Prix the rear deck is like that; but what

did was a 1/4" drive with a socket and # 2 screw bit.

That's a hell of a deal on a Takeda! I'm looking to get one for my ride too, good shit bro :drink40:

Lol that was one of those deals where when you broke, you still buy on impulse because you know you will NEVER see that price again lol.. It sounds like a monster too.. no more 4 banger whine when accelerating :D

Looks great! Can't wait to see how the doors turn out.

Thanks bro! I was gonna start them this weekend until I started getting nervous about bubbles the more I researched, so I ordered a fiberglass roller (first time glassing). But as soon as it makes it in the mail, I'll be starting them. I'm excited! Its gonna be a badass front stage! And what's even more exciting.. these are my "dream" speakers and now I have 2 sets I'll be glassing in a bad ass build! :D

Nice build!! I would stay with 3500-4k on the subs daily. Hell that 2500 at .5 would be about perfect also.

Thanks bro.. I'll be running a T2500bdcp at 1ohm so I don't put stress on my equipment... was going to go nendo, but you can't go wrong with the technology in that Rockford even if it is a couple hundred watts less (esp considering the constant power tech regarding impedance rise). It should be a nice, semi loud, super clean daily system overall :)
