finkster Posted September 17, 2013 Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 Add me some seleniums to my ride and I will be happy, and you would be suprised how loud the stock speakers are in new cars my friends '10 mustang sounds meh. added aftermarket radio and it was crazy the difference they hold them back big time. They hire sound engineers to do the speaker systems. They are aware of the capabilities of the speakers and probably don't under power them, but make them safe for longevity. They know the average person will beat on them, and design around that. The same thing goes for stock engines; there's always upgrades that you can do, but the stock systems are very efficient and reliable already. It actually has a stage and image ... and the center is not half bad either ... My buddies 2012 cruze isn't bad either. 2012 Kia Optima is pretty bad ass. This it has a 10 sub on the rear deck.
