The moose was turning around to presumably attack him again so I think I *for the most part* side with him PLUS given this guys exact situation. I would rather shoot the moose like he did than have me or someone else take a hoof to the chest/face/anything, I mean C'mon guys, the moose was coming back for more. At first he was just trying to scare it along, not sure if there were young moose around or not. Also, I am not an expert but I would think you are supposed to call DNR after something like that? Maybe wasn't near a phone or something I have no idea.
