A little while? Do you know how well they've done for how long? All doing what they want? You say listening to the community is a moral point, I say being honest and making what you want is the true moral point. If you did it for sales you'd be selling out...where's the morality in that? Who's to say these ideas would even sell?

That's my why I think if they have such good ideas, make their own game

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol

When Alan uses big words I don't understand

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

Everytime I see a guy driving a mini cooper I cant help but think he loves cock & (2/29/16)-My wife just bitched at me about throwing out things we don't really use. My response of well we don't really use your vagina so should we throw that out was evidently not the right response. I had to leave the room.

I missed Alan.

RIP 5/29/15 - I love you son.

It's not selling out in the terms we've set it for, that's for selling out in a negative manner. Creating a product that brings thousands upon thousands of people joy, (without causing them or anyone else real harm, unlike drugs which bring people joy but do harm) isn't selling out. It's doing a service for the community. And I said at least for a little while. Few companies have closed themselves by ignoring the gamers, or by not adapting the game to keep them interested. I mean look at Rockstar, I don't know anyone who hates the GTA series as a game, maybe they're not about it's methods/message, but game play alone it's hard to criticize it because it's so likeable, and I have trouble even thinking of anything I would change at all, and I would venture to say their series is the most appreciated and most liked across the spectrum by its generation of gamers, not including the 10 year olds on CoD's nuts of course, because they can't understand anything about gaming that isn't "What a n00b, no-life fag!" or "I fucked your mom, bitch"

And to clarify what I meant before; morally, doing what you want for yourself and not listening to what other tell you is true to yourself, sure. But if you're about making a game that's best for the customer then listening to the community is the thing to do. If the majority want it, give it to them, because then, if they come to find the rare instance where it's worse than they expected and want to change it back, you get to give them the proverbial "I told ya so". And saying that they should just make their own game is unrealistic. Everyone has a role to play in society, if yours is in the gaming industry, should it not be on you to provide what the gaming industry asks for? I mean, do you hire a contractor that you come to an agreement with on the work and pay him, but then he changes it/does it wrong and tells you to do it yourself, not have a problem with it? Maybe you could do it yourself or maybe not, but the fact of the matter remains that you paid for a service and it wasn't up to par, and he refused to fix it.

Dude all your posts are becoming books. You said a little while but do you know how long they've been selling now? A lot longer than a little while. And I hate the gta games. I hate them that I don't allow them in my house. I'll never buy another game from them and I don't care too

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

We will agree to disagree although I don't see how. You wouldn't want people telling you how to do your build or do your own thing when you build what you want with what you have. It's no different than a system.

I take pride in making the fullest explanation possible. :D So I guess you can say it's a good problem to have. And "they've been selling" doesn't mean all of them. Like I said, there are a few companies that go out of business and you can bet customer satisfaction was a part of it. Not all of course, but some at least. Anyway I'm bored on the topic, "reality" isn't reality so nobody can ever change everyone's mind because it's different in the way we perceive the world. I'll stick by what I said, and you stick by what you said.

I never disagreed with the point above. The argument is money. If people were paying me, I would feel obligated to do as they asked, whether it was convenient or not and whether I preferred it or not. But like I said, if they're not paying you then yeah, do what you want and ignore everyone.

Out my god you have got to be kidding me. You make no sense.

First off being verbose is not a skill or good trait to have, especially since we are not discussing a complex thought like cold fusion.

Second, they have no moral obligation to listen to someone just because they bought it. They chose to spend their money on what this person made. If they didn't want it or they want something different then they wouldn't buy it. If people paid you for something YOU created then told you how you should make it instead I would bet you wouldn't be so willing to do as they say simply because they told you. This isn't a customizable idea. The fact they've been selling isn't to prove the money point, it's to prove that your point of view is irrelevant because even with all that THEY'RE STILL SELLING. If it had such negative consequences they wouldn't sell period.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
